Nevada Health Care Forum: Issues Impacting Nevadans
Live audio / video simulcast will be available

Building off of a successful first year, more than 270 healthcare industry executives and government leaders attended the second annual Nevada Health Care Forum last fall. The event was an overwhelming success with nineteen nationally and locally recognized dynamic presenters addressing pending legislative changes impacting our national healthcare system and issues and opportunities for improving our national, regional and local healthcare system.

The Nevada Chapters of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), as well as the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition (SNMIC), Nevada Organization of Nurse Leaders (NONL) and Clark County Medical Society, cordially invite you to join us again on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 for the third annual Nevada Health Care Forum. Similar to the past few years, the event will take place at UnitedHealthcare Nevada in Las Vegas. Given the networking and interactive nature of the Forum, attendance in person is recommended. A live audio-video conference will be established for those individuals that are unable to travel or otherwise attend in person.

This year's symposium will focus on topics like the national impact of the healthcare reform on healthcare and Nevadans, fraud and abuse, wellness and disease management, quality in healthcare, healthcare Information technology/systems, Medicare and Medicaid, and more. The program again will feature national and state leaders in the health care industry.
